Grant Scheme

The main aim of the Ottershaw Community Partnership (OCP) CIC is to provide a fun community event for the residents of Ottershaw village and surrounding communities and to raise funds on the day for charities, groups and businesses but also to raise funds which is then distributed in the form of grants to our local organisations, groups and clubs .  This normally takes place in November following that years fete.

The grant approval process is undertaken by the OCP Committee.  Since its incorporation over £27000 has been distributed back to the community.  These grants have been enabled due to the amazing efforts from the fete committee and volunteers who give up their valuable time and without whom the fete cannot take place.

2023 Grants awarded​

Grant applications were received and funds awarded to the following to assist with:

​

• 1st Ottershaw Scouts - Camping equipment

• Ottershaw Cricket Club - Equipment and kit

• Ottershaw Village Hall - New chairs

• Ottershaw Bowling Club - New patio materials

• Christchurch Ottershaw - Chairs and bell ropes

• Ottershaw Players - Lighting desk

• Ottershaw Junior Football Club - Winter venue funding

• The Hope Hub - Craft equipment and materials

• Grant applications were received and funds awarded to the following to assist with:

• Ottershaw Players - funds towards LED stage lighting

• Ottershaw Bowling Club- funds towards club house soft furnishings

• Ottershaw Cricket Club - funds towards outside furniture

• Christchurch Ottershaw- funds towards a defibrillator.
